Another newcomer is “Reenpro”. This is a team of professionals offering solutions for electricity generation from renewable energy sources throughout Lithuania. They say that more than 16 years ago, in 2009, they took a huge step towards creating a more sustainable environment and were the first in Lithuania to build a solar power plant, which has been successfully producing electricity to this day.

Three KIA crews with the latest models will be launched onto the competition by KIA importers in the Baltic Countries. So far, one VW team has expressed its interest in participating. It is likely that we will also see the latest Nissan Leaf. Morek, manufacturers and distributors of electric car charging stations and electrical components, will start with the Tesla Model Y.

This year, two categories will compete simultaneously again. Participants in the “Business” category will try to reach Cēsis and Tartu as efficiently and quickly as possible, choosing a shorter route and not turning away from it to admire memorable places. The “Tourism” category will be won by those crews that will drive the most kilometers in 8 hours. A total of 70 teams with unmodified electric cars will be able to participate in the competition. Registration for participants starts today and will end when 70 teams will submit entry forms.
